Diana Hemsley, Art

Teaching is in Diana Hemsley's blood. Her parents were both teachers, so a career in teaching was a natural fit for her. For the past 12 years, Mrs. Hemsley has taught art to the students of Dos Pueblos. Currently, she teaches Color and Design, Sculpture, and AP Studio Art. As a teacher, she enjoys the interaction she has with her students and the creative aspects of teaching. In her free time, Mrs. Hemsley loves to make art, surf, camp, and spend time with her husband Jeff and their son Sunny. She believes in getting off of the couch and spending time outside of the house. "[ My life philosophy] is turn the tv off," said Hemsley, "Go create things, be active, and have fun."
