Heather Magner, English

Heather Magner is part of the English department, teaching Reach, English skills and English 10. She also advises the Cal-SOAP club. She has been part of the Dos Pueblos staff for 4 years. Ms. Magner got into teaching after being tired of the business world, and wanting to do something that would make a difference. She graduated from the University of Santa Barbara. Magner spends her free time being "a soccer mom" as she stated. She also, loves to read, hike, playing different types of sports and traveling. She has a husband and 2 kids (11 and 8). Ms. Magner hopes teenagers in the next generation will take personal responsibility. "I dwell in the possibility," said by Emily Dickenson, are her words of wisdom.
