Mike Dunn, EnglishMike Dunn's mother convinced him to be a teacher his senior year at University of Pacific, where he got his Bachelor in Arts, and his teaching credential. Mr. Dunn teaches English to all grades of high school students, and has a history of coaching football and basketball, as well as running the Dos Pueblos Summer Swim Program, which Mr. Dunn describes as being the best job I ever had. Mr. Dunn also helped coach the mock trial team, helping them win the state championship in 1987. Mr. Dunn is married, and has two daughters, Kristi and Kerri, and three grandchildren, Haley, Kaitlin, and Sophie. For high school students, Mr. Dunn would prefer that if they become parents, they would strive to be great ones. There is no greater role-model than a good parent. by Michael Zhang
