Kelly Choi, Math

Algebra 3/4, Aim 12, and a parting Leadership advisor, Kelly Choi does it all. A graduate from California State University Sacramento, Mrs. Choi knew she wanted to be a teacher "once [she] got to college and took some great math classes." After teaching at DPHS for seven years, Mrs. Choi says she has too many memorable teaching moments to count, "but [one is] always when I can physically see the light bulb go on and they get it." School has always been a big part of Mrs. Choi's life, with her husband being DP's athletics director, and a daughter, Madeline who is two. Mrs. Choi hopes that her students "will find peace and happiness within themselves. In this way, they will make the biggest positive impact on our society."
