Chris Hughes, Physical Education

Chris Hughes teaches advanced volleyball, and coaches the Varsity boys' volleyball team. He has worked at Dos Pueblos for four years, and enjoys his students and subject. It was because of his wife, Assistant Principal Michelle Hughes, that he began teaching at Dos Pueblos. Hughes attended college at Westmont and Chapman University. Hughes urges his students to try their best, for "it helps you sleep at night," and enjoys seeing the teenagers do things they thought they could not. He hopes that his students will make positive contributions to people's lives when they move onto adulthood. Hughes states simply, "DPHS rocks!"
