Bob Evans, Science
Bob Evans, a UCSB graduate, teaches Biology, IB Biology, and Conceptual Physics. He also is an advisor of the Nerd Club. His favorite parts about teaching biology include hands-on activities such as labs or looking through microscopes. "Most people have not seen the microscopic world," he said. The most memorable part of teaching is when students find joy in his sense of humor. "It's always nice when students laugh at your jokes." When he is not teaching, Mr. Evans spends his free time in the ocean, or with his wife Kymberly and daughter Korina. He hopes future generations of teens will continue to value education, and he encourages them with these three wise words: "Learning is fun."
