Liz Bush, Social Studies
Liz Bush has been teaching the students of DP for the last seven years. Many classes she has taught include; IB History of the Americas, U.S. History, Spanish and Chinese. "The parts I love, for purely self-centered reasons, are the challenge and the creativity of teaching." Ms. Bush also advises the school's POWA club and enjoys working with them as well. Her most memorable teaching experience was during the civil rights movement protest of 2003. Real life tension and the way it was being taught created an authentic learning experience for her, as well as her students.
