"Everyday is 'trick or treat'," says Mike Hart who has been at Dos Pueblos High School for 34 years. Coach Hart coaches Football and year after year wrestling, he also teaches World and American history and has credentials in teaching art. This year Coach Hart became the History Departments' chair who have won many awards and appeared in the hall of fame for wrestling. Despite having a wife, 3 children, many grand children and his coaching job he finds some time; to go mountain biking, painting, shooting and fishing. "Never take life too seriously, and never take yourself seriously," says Coach Hart as his words of wisdom. Coach loves what he is doing and that is teaching history, "History is a great subject, it's not dead, it makes you learn from mistakes people already made." I enjoy teaching because, "I am making a difference."
